Coral Street Arts House 6/6/08

“Elevated Art Show” Works inspired by the El
Friday, June 6th, 2008
Coral Street Arts House, Philadelphia

We’ll be the only band playing at an art opening for a show called ‘Elevated’, which is a themed show featuring artworks about the Market-Frankfor el! How appropriate that our drummer pays for the upkeep of his drumset with money earned in the employ of the omnipresently sinister SEPTA……

The show starts early at 5:30 (since it’s an art opening and not a normal music show) and wraps up at 8 PM. the Philadelphia City Paper reports that, quote: “…. there is talk of a dance-off at the First Friday reception during a set by local band Northern Liberties. We hate to break it to you, West Philly, but if Fishtown were to win anything, it would be a dance-off on Coral Street”……. Come on West Philly, bring your A game! Dance-off turf war!
